Zuni Horse Head Belt Buckle by Isabel Simplicio with large Turquoise Nuggets on Sterling Silver background with splatter and stamping that is classic style of bolos and buckles that come from the Zuni Simplicio family. I would estimate this was made in the 1960's it has the perfect patina on it from many years of being worn. Exceptional stones and shell inlay work in traditional Zuni fashion.

I also have the matching Bolo to this buckle and also the smaller Horse Head Bolo by the Simplicio's.

Condition: This one has a crack in the shell above the horses ears and the inlay for the horses ears is missing. Eventually I will have this fixed but the price now is as is.

We do not clean or polish our Native American Jewelry so that it shows the natural age and patina of the artistry through time. If you like the shinny polished look you could have it polished and cleaned or buff it up with a polishing cloth to your desired luster.
