More about the Gateway Saguaro:

Tucson's iconic "Gateway Saguaro" was created as a public art project for the City of Tucson by local artist-architect Dirk Arnold. Arnold has been working to save these iconic designs with his company Endangered Architecture for the past 20 years by creating artwork involving Tucson's Historic Neon Signs. In 2010 Arnold was given the opportunity to create a public art neon sign from the ground up and this towering 30 foot tall structure has become an icon of the Tucson Skyline. The signs popularity has made this a frequent request at local Tattoo shops around town, people just love it!
