Beautiful mother of pearl Snoopy ring SIZE 7. I bought this with a Snoopy watch that was dated 1958 so I would think the ring dates to sometime in the 1960's. I was not able to find any information about the Zuni Silversmith CARMICHAEL WALELA but somebody must know his story? This is around 50 years old and I just had it resized to a 7 because it was a tinny size to fit a child, it was just polished as well so its ready to wear. They call these rings Zuni Toons as they feature American cartoon iconography like Mickey Mouse, Pluto Snoopy and other Disney Characters. A few Zuni Silversmiths have made these as they are important parts of American culture but so few were ever made they are quite collectible and difficult to find.
